Delete your FigiPOS account

This page explains how to delete an account for FigiPOS, the point-of-sale app and web portal for food vendors and event organizers, developed by FIGI POS LLC.

Who has an account

Accounts belong to vendors and organizers, who sign in to the web portal. The FigiPOS tablet app does not create accounts: a tablet is paired to a vendor's account, and the cashiers who use it are added and removed by that vendor. If you are a cashier, ask the vendor you work for to remove you.

How to request deletion

• Email info@figipos.com from the email address on your account.
• Use the subject “Account deletion request”.
• Include your name, your business name, and whether you want your whole business account closed or only your own sign-in removed.

We may reply to confirm the request comes from you. We act on confirmed requests within 60 days and email you when it is done.

What we delete

• Your sign-in: name, email address, phone number, credentials and sessions.
• When a business account closes: its business profile, contact details, documents and images, and notes written on sales; its tablets and cashiers are removed, and their names anonymized where sales records refer to them.

What we keep, and for how long

• Sales, payment, refund and tax records, kept for 7 years because the law requires them to be kept for accounting and tax purposes. Where we can, we remove the names attached to them.
• A record of important account actions, kept for security.
• Backups, kept for a limited period of up to 7 days.
